Eagle Point began with one simple desire: to create the kind of barn I could never quite find.
As a lifelong horsewoman, I have spent decades riding, showing, and breeding elite horses. I’ve experienced the joys and frustrations of barn life, and I know what it means to hand over the care of beloved horses and hope they’re seen, respected, and truly understood.
At EPE, I have brought together everything I’ve learned—both in and out of the saddle—to build a facility that honors the bond between horse and rider. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all program. It’s personal, attentive care offered in a private, peaceful setting where both horses and humans can thrive.
From the design of our stalls to the rhythm of our daily care, everything here is intentional. Every choice has been made with the well-being of the horse and the trust of the owner in mind.
If you're seeking a barn that values excellence without ego, support without judgment, and care without compromise, you’ve found your place.
We will love your horse like you do. And we’d be honored to welcome you both home.
Best,
Gundi
Meet My Teammates
Cecily Hayes brings impressive depth and energy to Eagle Point Equestrian Center. A lifelong horsewoman and accomplished trainer, she is the founder of Underwood Farms—a boutique Hunter/Jumper program with a focus on young horse development, sales, and personalized training. Cecily’s background includes a decorated collegiate riding career, earning two All-American titles, multiple Big 12 honors, and numerous Most Outstanding Player awards. Her experience, intuition, and joyful dedication to each horse make her an invaluable part of daily life at EPE.
Working alongside her is Tyler Younger, Cecily’s husband and the son of Eagle Point’s founder, Gundi Younger. Raised in the world of high-performance sport horses, Tyler brings quiet confidence, precision, and a deep understanding of the property he’s known since its design and construction. In addition to his hands-on role at EPE, he owns a professional transport business that specializes in the safe hauling of horses, equipment, and farm machinery. Whether trailering a horse for a client or preparing the grounds for shifting California weather, Tyler is instrumental in how EPE operates with such calm reliability.
Together, Cecily and Tyler embody the values that define Eagle Point—thoughtful management, structured routines, and above all, horse-first care. Their partnership is evident in the way the barn runs and in the atmosphere they help create: warm, professional, and entirely devoted to the well-being of the horses and riders who call EPE home.
